Calahonda
For those who do not wish to venture too far afield, the apartment complex houses a swimming pool and there are nearby restaurants, Miel and Nata, being a particularly good spot to eat. Calahonda centre is about five minutes drive down the hill, and about a 40 minute downhill walk. Taxis are easy to get to return to the apartment. The El Zoco complex in Calahonda has a large supermarket and several shops, restaurants and bars with a variety of international cuisines being offered. Cabopino beach, one of the nicest on the Costa del Sol, is only about ten minutes from Calahonda.
Fuengirola
Only about 15 minutes drive from the apartment is the town of Fuengirola – one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol.
Previously, a tiny fishing village, Fuengirola has become a lively cosmopolitan metropolis with lots of character. There are many tapas bars, good restaurants, combined with chic boutiques and other shops of interest, as well as fabulous beaches. Look out for restaurants serving 3 course meals for a very reasonable price and great food!

The Costa del Sol is often known as the Costa del Golf due to its myriad of golf courses. The apartments boasts proximity to several golf courses and it is very easy to book tee times.

In the Cabopino golf course you will find not only well designed lakes which offer a challenge in accuracy but also wooded and undulated areas. As in most courses in the region you will be able to admire spectacular views from nearly every spot. Traffic and tourism are far away when playing here which makes the course even more attractive.
